He is a professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB), University of Chittagong . His Excellency President and Chancellor of the University Mr. Mohammed Shahabuddin has given this appointment for the next four years as per Section 12(1) of NSTU Act 2001. On Tuesday, 29 October 2024, with the approval of His Excellency the President and the Chancellor, the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education issued a notification in this regard.
